Selecting an Ergo-Arm

Guide to Selecting the Best Ergo-Arm for Your Application

All Classic Ergo-Arms rotate on mounting post 180o and allow a reach of 4 - 30 inches through the incorporation of a two piece articulating arm.  Ergo-Arms provide ergonomic support for electric and pneumatic tools, reduces operator fatigue and increases productivity, consistency, and accuracy.

AD-D1098-PAC
  • Reduce operator fatigue and increase productivity

  • Use with inline pneumatic tool

  • Vertical screw application

  • Arm movement is up-down and 180o side-side

  • Dial regulator provides easy adjustment of counterbalance

  • Power source for arm is pneumatic (air line is required)

AD-D1098-PACE
  • Reduce operator fatigue and increase productivity

  • Use with inline electric tool; includes EAP-202ASSY driver tool mount

  • Vertical screw application

  • Arm movement is up-down and 180o side-side

  • Dial regulator provides easy adjustment of counterbalance

  • Power source for arm is pneumatic (air line is required)

AD-D1098-P
  • Reduce operator fatigue and increase productivity

  • Use with inline pneumatic tool

  • Vertical screw application

  • Arm movement is up-down and 180o side-side

  • Power source for arm is hydraulic (no air line is required)

AD-D1098-SAC
  • Single arm design allows operator control while absorbing torque reaction and supporting tool weight

  • End of arm swivel tooling allows for maximum rotation of tool.  For use with:
    -Inline pneumatic tool is standard
-Pistol grip or angle head pneumatic tool requires addition of part EAA-21
-Inline electric tool requires addition of part EAP-202ED-KIT
-Pistol grip electric tool requires addition of part EAA-21
-Can be customized for use with Automatic Screwfeeder

  • Horizontal, vertical or varied screw application

  • Arm movement is forward-backward, up-down and 180o side-side

  • Dial regulator provides easy adjustment of counterbalance

  • Power source for arm is pneumatic (air line is required)

AD-D1098-S

LQ series Ergo-Arms are ideal for applications with higher weight and torque requirements.  Very compatible with a wide range of tools from small electric screwdrivers to larger, high torque DC nutrunners.  This extremely smooth, linear arm allows freedom of movement along X & Y axis.
LQ-0002
  • Use with inline electric tool

  • Vertical screw application

  • Arm movement is up-down and 360o side-side rotation unless limited by tool configuration.  Clearance required for movement equals reach of arm.*

  • Smaller height and reach

  • End of arm fixturing allows operator the full grip of tool with no pinch points

  • Power source for arm is mechanical (no air line is required)

  • Shipped with two ASB-0C balancers

LQ-0004
  • Use with inline electric tool or inline lower torque DC nutrunner

  • Vertical screw application

  • Arm movement is up-down and 360o side-side rotation unless limited by tool configuration.  Clearance required for movement equals reach of arm.*

  • End of arm fixturing allows operator the full grip of tool with no pinch points

  • Power source for arm is mechanical (no air line is required)

  • Shipped with two TW-3 balancers

LQ-0024H
  • Use with inline higher torque DC nutrunner

  • Use with pistol grip lower torque DC nutrunner (requires addition of part 0045 or 0047)

  • Vertical or horizontal screw application

  • Side by side configuration of linear slides provide additional stability for heavier or higher torque tools

  • Arm movement is up-down and 360o side-side rotation unless limited by tool configuration.  Clearance required for movement equals reach of arm.*

  • End of arm fixturing allows operator the full grip of tool with no pinch points

  • Optional swivel tool mount is available
