General Tool Servicing and Repair Training
|
|
Attendees will focus on the Service, Repair and Maintenance of Pneumatic and Electric Pulse Tools, Clutch Drivers and Right Angle Pneumatic Nutrunners. Training is conducted in a hands on manner in an actual repair facility.
Curriculum Overview
- Function and Design Elements of Tools
- Air Motor Repair
- Pulse Unit Theory and Servicing Technique
- Shut Off Mechanism Servicing
- Calibration and Tool Validation ( Dynamic versus Residual Measurements)
- Preventative Maintenance Techniques
- Troubleshooting
Students will be expected to possess basic mechanical aptitude and have familiarity with standard shop equipment operation.

AcraDyne® Controlled Tool Servicing and Repair Training
|
Attendees will focus on the Service, Repair and Maintenance of AcraDyne® Electric Controlled Tools. Training is conducted in a hands on manner in an actual repair facility.
Curriculum Overview
- Function and Design Elements of Tools
- Understanding of normal tool operation and Toolware software
- Evaluation and Diagnostic Techniques to determine root cause of tool problem
- Motor Servicing Techniques
- Transducer Handling and Troubleshooting
- Gear Assembly and Lubrication Procedures
- Writing Code to TID Board
- Understanding Test Points in Controller
- Tool drawing review
- Generation Levels
- Final Testing and QC Techniques

Attendees will focus on the Service, Repair and Maintenance of AcraDyne® Tool Controllers. Training is conducted in a hands on manner in an actual repair facility.
Curriculum Overview
- Function and Design Elements of Controllers
- Differences between controller models
- Spindle Control Card (SCC) Diagnosis and Repair Technique
- Network Board Identification, Function and Service Technique
- Servo Replacement
- I/O Connections
- Upgrading SCC code and CNC code
- Final Testing and QC Techniques
Students will be expected to possess basic mechanical aptitude and have familiarity with standard shop equipment operation. Basic Electrical Theory is a bonus. |
