AIMCO's training programs
AIMCO's training programs have long been recognized as a valuable compliment to the products and services we offer. Specific, individualized instruction, with a strong hands on component sets AIMCO training above and beyond what larger companies are able to or choose to offer to their customers.
Each portion of our Tool University training program has been designed to cover all the elements that are essential in the fastening process. Starting with a firm understanding of the mechanics of the assembled joint itself, AIMCO then explores the relationships between the application materials, the power tool, torque specifications and the operator.
Tool University is hands on. Our training facility is equipped with state of the art joint simulators, products and sample applications. Utilities and workbenches allow for hands on use during instruction to insure that attendees are able to experience the product in as close to real word conditions as possible.
For AIMCO distributors, regional sales managers and our associates we offer a schedule of 5 sessions throughout each year that may be scheduled through our local regional management team.
For our end users, AIMCO offers programs that specifically cater to the industries and applications that are appropriate for that company. AIMCO Regional Sales Managers are able to facilitate scheduling of end user Tool U sessions any time throughout the year with couple of weeks advance notice.
To keep our training effective, AIMCO limits our Tool U class sizes to 8 people so enroll early to insure your choice of dates are available.
For our training sessions:
- AIMCO covers all training, materials and local lunches. Each student is responsible for travel to our Portland, Oregon facility, local lodging (available at preferred rates) and all other expenses incurred outside of the program times.
- Attendees leave with manuals, application guides and a certificate of completion.
Tool University programs, with proper preparation and logistics, can be brought "On the Road". Check with your AIMCO Regional Sales Manager to begin discussions on how that may be arranged.
In addition to our acclaimed Tool University program, AIMCO offers in depth seminars on the subject of Torque. Click here to learn more…
